Die hier von ein paar Kunden beschrieben Aussetzer kann ich nur bestätigen. Die Kundenberatung bei TechniSat könnte auch entgegenkommender sein – ich bekam die Empfehlung, das Gerät einzuschicken, was aber Kosten verursachen könne – O-Ton: "Prüfung und ggf. Nach ein paar Monaten fing es an und hörte nicht mehr auf: Manchmal geht das Gerät aus, mal blinkt die Anzeige, dann funktioniert es wieder eine Weile. notwendige Reparatur erfolgt dann gegen Gebühr." Und das bereits 15 Monate nach dem Kauf. Andere Anbieter sind da sehr viel kulanter. Leider schon mein zweiter Reinfall mit einem Gerät dieser Firma.
Guter Klang, leicht einzurichten, durch nachrüstbaren Akku vielseitig einsetzbar. Wir sind zufrieden.
I am editing this review because new features have been added. You can also now add any station you want to the radio, which is great. You can now connect your radio to a computer and make a favourites folder where you can have quick access to all the stations you want to, thats a very big improvement. They listened to our reviews and improved significantly! Thank you.In general, I think this is worth the purchace. Most internet radios seem to use the same interface and this one stands out by being one of the cheapest on the market.The product works! However the expirience isn't the best. I bought this radio mainly for its IR(internet radio) capabilities, I wanted a dedicated IR with which I could do some "zapping", browsing and exploring stations, (even with a small buffer which I wouldn't mind). However after getting the radio I came to the realisation that it's not that simple. To go to a single station, for example the voice of Greece, you have to go through 6 button presses (Location>Europe>Greece>ERT>The Voice of Greece>The Voice of Greece *yes, you have to select a station twice, totally unescessary). After selecting a Greek station I expected to be alble to get to the next one with a simple turn of the knob. Nope! You have to go back 3 times and then get into 2 other menus to get to another station, essentially defeating the zapping appeal. It's also extremely difficult to see all stations from a country. That might be okay for countries like the USA, but for my island, Cyprus, trying to find a station is extremely difficult, requiring 6 clicks just to get to the list (Discover>Origin>Europe>Cyprus>Everything from Cyprus>Show Stations) then 2 menus to select the station (one being totally unescessary). The only thing that resembles a conventional radio is the 20 presets, which would've been enough if it was easy to find stations in another way, but it's not, so those 20 presets fill up fast.I've found most stations I wanted to find, however there is no way to add the ones I didn't. We don't know where the radio get's it's list from, and I believe thechnisat should provide that information before purchase.There are also podcasts it seems, but the only way to find them is by going to a radio station that has "related podcasts". I've only found one station with some podcasts, the BBC stations don't have any.As for the FM capabilities they are mediocre at best. The reception is rather poor. From a radio with a screen and such computing power I expected something similar to a car radio, where you can scan and have a channel list ready for use, that is not the case. There is a seek option, but it finds almost no stations.I've only managed to get bluetooth working once, it doesn't auto connect. It display's a song's title and artist, as well as having media and volume controls, but I think it'd be nice if it also showed the album cover of a song.The speaker's are good by portable radios standards, but average at best compared to a portable JBL speaker for example.The battery is sold seperately and it's not one you can find at your local corner shop, but it is rechargeable, with micro USB sadly, not USB C.The radio has not met my expectations and it's due to the software it runs on however I am not sure there are any alternatives, from pictures I've seen, every IR uses the same one, that's why I am giving 3 stars, because it does it's job in the same way I suppose any other would, and for a reasonable price compared to other products.
It's important to read the manual but is working great. It can connect to all kind of radio worlwide and the screen is very useful.
Das Farbdisplay ist klar und (für die Größe) gut ablesbar. Beim Ton sind die Höhen und Tiefen getrennt einstellbar; so lässt sich für die meisten Musikrichtungen ein guter Klang einstellen. Wenn man den Druckknopf für die "Information" einige Sekunden gedrückt hält, erscheint die Bilddarstellung des gewählten Senders als Slideshow über die gesamte Display-Größe. Der Akku muss (falls benötigt) extra dazugekauft werden, ist aber leicht zu bekommen und auch leicht einsetzbar. Insgesamt finde ich das Radio gut durchdacht und in einer guten Qualität. Es sind alle aktuellen Empfangsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Wer es ganz bequem möchte, kann das Radio sogar mit der Undock-app per Smartphone bedienen.
